Helsinki & Tallinn

short trip to Helsinki and Tallinn with the Boys.

I took the early Finnair flight to Helsinki where Quinten picked me up. we drove to a small national park bit outside of Helsinki. Quinten booked a Airbnb for us where we made us some wraps and watched a movie. it was already dark at 4pm.

the next morning we had breakfast and drove to a hike. we walked along a beautiful snowy landscape. it was cold and gray but still really nice. at midday we headed back into Helsinki where we booked a Hostel in the city. quick hot shower and we brought the car back to the rental company from there we took a train to a Asian friend of Quinten who lives in Helsinki and had a sauna in his Building. we had a delicious chicken soup and went in the sauna with some beers. close to midnight we took the train back to our hostel.

after a short and easy breakfast we checked out and left our backpacks there. we did a free walking tour for two hours what was super cold but funny and interesting. after a quick lunch we picked our backpacks up and walk 5km to the ferry to Tallinn.

the ferry was super busy with young people. I don't know why. 3 hours ride in the dark with some big waves made even me feeling bit sick.

in Tallinn we booked a hostel in the old city center. we left our backs behind and went to a sports-bar to have dinner. afterwards we went to a Irish pub where late night Daniel joint us. we arrived late night back at the Hostel.

Next Morning we had breakfast in a small restaurant and walked a bit around the Old Town before we did another free walking tour. again it was super cold... but nice.

we had dinner in some kind of German brew-house. quick shower back at the Hostel before we headed out for some drinks and a karaoke bar... the rest i don't really remember anymore... :)

next Morning we took the train to the Baltic sea and had a walk along the coast. unfortunately my flight was at this evening so i had to return before the other two to catch my flight back to Frankfurt.

Daniel and Quinten leaving tomorrow early but i have to be back at work.
