I arrived late in the night. Janina was so friendly to pick me up from the Airport. I can stay with her in a small room in New Brighton in Christchurch. The first day I had a bit jet-leg and we got up late. After a nice Breakfast we drove to Christchurch Gondola. We walked uphill to the top Station. Where we had a nice few over the Bay and Christchurch. In the Evening we drove home and Walked to the Beach. Back Home we made self made Pizza :) At the 10.12.18 we went in to the city of Christchurch. Its a nice small city. Old and modern at once. A few years ago was a big earthquake here and destroyed a lot of buildings. We went to the Botanical Garden. I bought later a new Sim for my phone. I started my journey one Year ago! I still think it was the best decision in my life! At the 11.12.18 we got up a bit earlier and drove to the Gondley head Park where we went for a 3,5km hike. The Weather was not so good but the fresh Air is so nice that I don't need so good weather at the moment. But I think I need a few more worm cloths... on the way home we stopped by at the Cave Rock. Today we just went out for buy new Food. “Office Day”... 12.12.18
14.12. we got early up to go to in the area around Akaroa. We went to a small Beach where we saw big seal's. We continued a steam street to a lookout but it was in the clouds... we could look 50m far. In the evening we Camped on the sea on a little Cheap Campground in Pogion bay.
15.12. we woke up by the sun in our faces. Breakfast next to the car on the ocean. We made a 12 km hike up to around 200m high. Nice few over the Bay. In the evening we drove to a Island in the bay by Akaroa. Later we had a drink in Akaroa and pickup some cash for the next campsites.
We camped on a free camp in little Akaroa. Spicy pasta for dinner and early to bed after this exhausting day.
16.12. we started early again our day and went to a lookout and again in the clouds... we drove a bit down and had breakfast on the street with nice few over the Robinson bay at the edge of the cloud ceiling. After around 2 hours brunch we drove over the Summit pass back to Christchurch.
The 17.12 was a sunny Day. We chilled the half day in the Garden in the Sun. At midday we was hungry of Waffles.So we Bought a waffle maker and made waffles... Delicious!!!
19.12. I've meet Janina and Katharina from I old flying club. Katharina is living here in Christchurch since a few Years. We grow up together and we didn't saw us for many years. It was so nice to see the both after so long time. In the evening we watched a movies in the Cinema, because it started Raining... on the next day we went to the Royal Air force Museum in Christchurch. The weather is a mix between Sun and Rain nearly every day. So we spent a lot of time in the house watching Netflix and surfing in the internet or short walks around New Brighton on the beach.
yesterday we went to a Food marked in Riccarton (Bush-marked) I had a curry Sausage and we shard a waffle with Cream and Banana. After we went to a shopping center around the corner and looked a bit around. We know already we have to come back on Boxing-day after Christmas to make some good deals.

Christmas in the Sun! We went for a short walk on the beach and after in the sun in the Garden because it was a bit windy. A few Beer for lunch... Merry Christmas 2018!
Today we prepared everything for our road trip to Blenheim via Arthur's pass and golden bay. Get the car ready and our stuff together. And clean a bit the House. Lets Rock the Road again! Janina found a Working Hostel in Blenheim where we hopefully find soon a Job.
