On the 01.06 we cleaned and tidy up the car. Toke some pictures to sell it. 04.06 after a long last weekend we are back to work at Pattullos. the next weeks we not really did something, because we didn't had much money and we was tiered from work. One month at work: we digging the Trees from the summer out and tie them together to bundle. I'm the Nr.1 Tractor driver. So I'm collecting the bundles from the Block or filling the trucks up with Frames that we collected before. But its really cold now. During the day we got max 13C and in the morning we had already a few days with -3C... our apartment in Haumoana is really nice we share it with a Israel guy. This weekend we been finally to the ocean beach. Its such a nice beach. I wish we have been in summer there... I also finally made all my flight hours for the validation. Now I'm waiting for the authority... I have only 3 weeks with Janina before she leaves back to Germany... its hard to say goodbye after such a long time... 30.06.19

I made de decision that I will sell my Rugby tickets because I don't have enough money for the trip... what is really sad. But I hope I can spend on this way more time in Nepal. I made my final planning for skiing. It will be on the North island on the Mt Rapahue a Vulcan and one of the highest ski areas in NZ, 3 Days. It is much cheaper than flying to the south island. I also don't have to take much days of. 07.07.2019

In the last weeks I got finally my validation for flying in NZ. I made already 2 short flight with friends from work. It's so good to be back in the Air. At work we are nearly done with the Tree harvesting and a few people left already. The group is getting smaller. Janina made a short trip to Rarotonga for 5 Days to have Holiday's before she will return to Germany. Today she flew to Melbourne where she will stay for a week and than she will be on the way to Frankfurt. Many People step in your life, but only a few leave footprints in your Heart! Will miss you! We had a awesome time that I will never forget. We did the most stunning trip of my life together! Hope to get back on the road with you one day some where. 28.07.2019

the Tree harvesting is done. The last people will leave next week from our group. I hope I can stay a bit longer. We are back to 40 hours a week what is on one side nice and on the other I don't earn much money... I making nearly every week sightseeing flight with friends from work. Still hoping that the weather will be so good one day that I can make a flight around Tongariro. This weekend Alan, Maria, Craig and I went to Craig's weekend House at Blackheadbeach. Where we played Darts and watched the Rugby match Australia against New Zealand. Few Beer and a ride along the Beach. Today I woke up early and watched a beautiful sunrise over the Sea. Craig's parents made me the offer to move to them to save money. From next Friday I will live with a Kiwi Family in Napier. The best thing at all... they have a Spa! :) 11.08.2019

I moved from Haumoana to Napier. I live now in the Garage of Craig's Family. I have a big room with bathroom. I can use the living room and kitchen in the house. Its really nice. Got a spa, big TV, play station, pool table and Dartboard. I also save a lot of money. The weekend over my birthday, Craig and I drove to Mt. Ruapehu for skiing. The Saturday was shit weather and they closed at 2 pm all lifts because of strong Wind and ice rain. My birthday we spend in Taupo in a spa and had some beers in a Irish pub in the evening. On Monday the 19.08. we went up to Wakapapa Ski area. It was a beautiful day. Blue sky and calm. -2C but in the sun it was warm. Skiing on a Vulcan in 2200m above sea level. Just stunning. 30!!! i can't believe it... it's time to make some plannings for my future! 20.08.2019

in the last few weeks I worked with the other crew in the shed and graded root-stocks. Probably around 300 000 new trees went trough my hands... but we are done and everybody except from me is gone. The next weeks we will do some small maintaining things on the fields. I bought a small Nissan to go to work and back. Still trying to sell the van but without any luck so far. 7.09.2019

time fly's... again a few week's past. I sold the Van, what made me a bit sad. But I sold it for a good prize to a young German girl. The new car is running fine so far and use only 6 Liter what will save me a lot of money. I try to make every weekend long walks to get in training for me trip to the Mount Everest what is challenging. But it's only 5 weeks to go! Last weekend we changed to summertime. Whats means longer days. The temperatures getting warmer too. 14-24C and sunny days. On Saturday I had again a nice flight around the area with to colleague's from work and with this flight I made more hours in one year than ever before. On Sunday I made the famous Cape Kidnappers walk here in Hawks bay. 20Km on the beach along the cliffs. It was beautiful. And today was a bloody exiting day.

first: I can stay until 08.03.2020 in New Zealand :) yes! second we had a strong hail thunderstorm that was really intense. and third: my first strong earthquake. with 5.4 on the scale in 30km deep very close to Napier. the hold house was moving for seconds. pretty scary. 01.10.2019

its time to get ready! One week to my first flight to Singapore and around two to Mount Everest. I made a few last walks. This weekend I spend my time with cleaning cloths, tidying up my room and get my suitcase ready. I will work until Friday and on Saturday morning at 0615 is my flight out of Napier. I will return on the 5.12. Time for the next epic journey! I'm excited.

The Himalaya is calling!
