02.11. 0510hr in the morning time to get up! Craig is so friendly to drop me of at the Airport. 1Hour to Auckland than 4 hours later I'm on the Way to Singapore in a new Boeing 787. I arrived late midday in Singapore and I realized quiet it will be hot the next days. 32C and 60-80% humidity. Quinten is arriving a bit later so I took relaxed the bus in to town to our hostel. Its the smallest hostel I ever been to. 3 rooms with 12 bed's in total. But its very nice. After Quinten arrived we had Asian food and a big beer for dinner and headed early to bed because of our jet-leg.
The 03.11. I woke up at 4am and tried to sleep until 6am... but not really successfully. Lucky Quinten woke up early to and we headed out in to town. We walked around china town, little India and the marina Bay. On the way we had delicious lunch and snacks. In the evening we walked around the marina bay and watched the Big trees at night and the skyline of Singapore. Before we went back to the Hostel we enjoyed a nice dinner and a cold beer.
The 04.11. was the hottest day. We had 36C! we walked to the Garden by the Bay watched all the plants and trees. In the evening we went in the marina bay hotel on the highest floor in a bar where we had quiet expansive cocktails and beer but with a awesome view over the city and the sunset. Later we watched the Light show on the hotel from the other side of the bay.
05.11. we started the day early with a free guided tour trough Chinatown and the temples. After we walked around the Malaysian quarter and went beck to the Hostel early to pack our backpacks.
The last day in Singapore we made the free guided tour trough the Malaysian quarter with a few people from the china town tour the day before. Right after we picked our stuff up and drove to the Airport. Quinten and I had different flights. Both was delayed by nearly an hour... but than I was on the way to Katmandu!
